Testimonial from a Culture Enthusiast

Maria Kowalski, Literature Professor, Kraków University

“Our department struggled to inspire students about Gothic literature. Traditional lectures felt disconnected from the source material. Then we organized trips to Gothic castles with writer museums.

The transformation was remarkable and immediate. Students engaged deeply with the atmospheric settings. Furthermore, they understood writers’ inspirations firsthand. Our enrollment in Gothic literature courses increased by 45%.”

Surprised the article didn’t dig more into Edinburgh’s Writers’ Museum since it covers Scott, Stevenson and Burns all under one roof on the Royal Mile. Decent overview though and the photography is genuinely lovely.
